HOPE
Unites is acting as a
recruiter for several long-term recovery centers located in
both Mississippi and New
Orleans. We are taking your
registration and making reservations at these centers on your
behalf. We are working to provide superior quality to your team by
doing the best job possible to match your skill sets with those of
the needs in the Gulf Coast.
About our
worksites: at a minimum all
of our worksites have kitchen facilities for your team's use.
Our worksites provide and prepare meals for your team. Teams will be
doing mostly construction work, debris removal, roofing, framing,
finishing and case management.
Locations of our worksites:
Gulfport, Biloxi, D'Iberville, Perlington and New
Orleans
All of our
worksites have housing inside bunkhouses and/or church floors. Teams
are expected to provide their own bedding and be prepared to bring
an air mattress. Our sites do have RV hook ups and camp
grounds, trailers, army tents, and tent sites.
Age
Requirements: This is part of our
matching process, if you have young people on your team, we will
match your group with the most suitable worksite. Parents must
accompany youth under the age of 14. Most worksites will
receive youth 16 and older only, but we do have one that will
take younger than 16-years of age provided they are accompanied by a
parent. Youth teams must have one adult per every 5
youth. Remember, these are construction sites and not the
place for young children. |
