Andrea
Gibson is preparing
to leave for Namibia this
November. In the spring
of 2006, as a student of Houghton College, she spent a semester in
Tanzania taking classes,
living with the native people, and doing service projects. While there, she felt her
heart go out to the continent and its people. Now that she has graduated,
she’s decided to return to Africa spend a year at Children of Zion
Village orphanage in Katima
Mulilo, Namibia. There, she will help to
continue the work that Sarah Haver did with the equestrian program
for the children. For
more information about what she will be doing, check out Trinity’s
Hope. If you would like to support

Sarah Haver is on staff with Pfunanane Academy, a
small Christian school in Modjadjiskloof, South
Africa. The Academy is a non-profit organization which aims to
provide good quailty education for the children in the
surrounding communities, with an emphasis on underpriviledged
and orphaned children. The school is one of a kind for it's
area and is really making an impact for Christ through practical and
spiritual means by teaching and
discipling.

Charlie Elliot will be working in Suna, Megori, Kenya
starting this March, currenlty Charlie is in Namibia working with
Sarah Haver. Charlie just recently returned from a
mission trip that went to Suna this past January to build a
school and was inspired to return. Charlie is taking a
semester's break from college to work with his new friends in
Kenya. While Charlie was working on building the school, he
made a new friend, Humphry. The 2 became fast friends
working hard together in the hot sun. Humphry, having little but
wanting to give Charlie a special gift, gave Charlie his most
precious posession, his father's Olympic Gold Medal.
Charlie will be working in the local school, teaching and
overseeing the final construction of the Christian school that HOPE
is helping to build. In addition, Charlie will be working with
the locals in economic development, helping to establish cottage
industries in order that widows can better provide for their
orphaned grandchildren. To learn more about the work Charlie
will be doing in Kenya, click here. If you would like to make a

his spare time, he teaches English to youth and adults.
Through this he is able to make friends and this
